Kris Moore was born in Wichita, Kansas, to a United States Air Force Bomber Pilot from Chicago, Illinois, and a sweet farm girl from Texas. After relocating from the Air Base to the Air Base, she graduated from high school in Texas. Right after high school, after winning a contest at the local radio station, the DJ asked her, 'Have you ever thought about being on the radio?' This marked the beginning of her journey in broadcasting. She started as a part time evening radio DJ, then worked her way up to a prime time host and Program Director. Her talent and dedication led to her winning several awards, including numerous National Broadcasting Awards.
Kris's career in both radio and Television took her to various cities in Texas, where she not only picked up numerous awards, Including the Best Morning Show Host in the local newspaper's Best of section, but also earned recognition from local non-profits for her unwavering dedication to using her voice to help the community. Her deep-rooted passion for community service, evident in her relentless efforts, is a testament to her character and the profound impact she has made.
Her favorite part of her career has been the numerous interviews she has conducted, spanning a wide range of personalities from William Shatner to Bret Michaels to Tommy Chong. Her versatility in engaging with such diverse individuals, including politicians striving to bring truth into broadcasting, is truly remarkable.
